Should be like a yellow card in soccer. Out for 1 play, 15 yds but not ejected. I'm completely surprised they picked up the flag.
Yes it does. That is the whole ***ing point, that it isn't called the same each game. It insanely inconsistent.
It sure is easy to eject some non blue blood player in a lesser game, but boy if it's a blue bloood in a big game, boy we better pick up that flag....
The refs are against the SEC to allow this defense to stop this irresistible force.
Young’s was a shoulder to the head. They weren’t the same at all.
I see ejection for egregious hits. But accidental contact as the offensive player goes low shouldn't deserve ejection. Need some subjectivity. Need to treat it like roughing the kicker. Have a minor penalty for contact and a major penalty with ejection for head hunting.
Agree. Apparently sec defenses suck. Please, someone tell ESPN.
Normally I'd say "stop, they're already dead", but quite frankly, beat that SEC ass.
