Could very easily seeing that happening and Rose Bowl would want a Pac 12 vs B1G match-up:

I think it's pretty much impossible (Thankfully). IU or Northwestern would take slots over Iowa in pecking order for NY6 if ISU lands there, and Alamo opponent would be vs. Pac-12.

Nah. It is either Fiesta vs Oregon or Alamo vs USC..

As much as I don't want Iowa playing in same level bowl as ISU this we would slap Iowa offense silly.

All that matters right now is who will be ranked higher: Iowa State or Indiana. Hopefully, the Committee will not drop ISU too far, since they lost to #10 by 6 with a chance to win in the final minute. Never know though, as they love them some Indiana! @ Fiesta (with no fans) vs. Oregon or @ Alamo (with limited fans like today) vs. Southern California are both excellent landing spots for ISU.

The Committee has consistently ranked Indiana lower than the AP. That gives me a little more optimism for the Fiesta.

I feel like JP always gets us in a better bowl than we think we'll get..... so I'm hopeful he can get us in the Fiesta over the Alamo..... however..... I had a blast at the Alamo Bowl even though we lost the game. The 3 days in San Antonio leading up to the game were so much fun.

Agreed...getting an NY6 bid is all on JP working his magic right now. If it were a normal year and fans were allowed picking us would be a no brainer...40,000+ of us would buy tickets. But it's not a normal year and I feel like the NY6 bowl committees (i.e. sponsors) are going to want eyeballs on a tv. Not sure we bring enough of those to the table.

Matt Lienhart and Reggie Bush will probably pick USC over us. Kirk Herbstriet will pick USC....after fake crying....and a few backhanded swipes at us daring anyone else to pick us. It's all very predictable.

IF the Semi-Final site gets switched I pretty much expect this scenario to happen unfortunately.
