Little birdie told me internally, AD feels confident in fiesta. Same source I had for Xavier Foster info. Only hiccup is of Indiana gets it, which is doubtful.
I’m sure they feel that way. Just don’t trust the B10 and throwing the bone to Indiana with only “1 loss to a conference champion”.
They'll play the 'but we didn't get enough games!' card like that wasn't at least somewhat in their control.
You are only guaranteed NY6 as a G5 if you are ranked in Top 6 i believe. Which Cinnci or Coastal wont be.
Coastal not playing in title game might ruined their chances at NY6.. It iwll be highest rated G5 team gets Ny6 invite. Cinnci losses then Coastal gets it..Cinnci wins they get it.
I'm jealous of Washingon State in 2018...they got a great, very winnable bowl matchup and were able to end the season with a win and good warm fuzzies for the off season. It's our turn for that! Can we schedule us?

If fiesta gets swapped w rose bowl for cfp due to attendance problems, that would be the Indiana scenario. That’s what I was told anyway. Fwiw.
All that matters right now is who will be ranked higher: Iowa State or Indiana. Hopefully, the Committee will not drop ISU too far, since they lost to #10 by 6 with a chance to win in the final minute. Never know though, as they love them some Indiana! @ Fiesta (with no fans) vs. Oregon or @ Alamo (with limited fans like today) vs. Southern California are both excellent landing spots for ISU.
Did you watch the first half of today's game? It is possible we drop out of the top 12. It was televised and a lot of people saw that. I'd say a spiteful 11 is very possible.
I feel like JP always gets us in a better bowl than we think we'll get..... so I'm hopeful he can get us in the Fiesta over the Alamo..... however..... I had a blast at the Alamo Bowl even though we lost the game. The 3 days in San Antonio leading up to the game were so much fun.

Yes and no. Top 12 minus any autos. Such as PAC12 will not be top 12 and if 2 ACC make CFP then that puts UNC there. Number 9/10 is where the cut will probably be.
Correct, it won't happen. They'll probably play in the outback bowl
