Maybe with this many people upset with the Liberty Bowl, maybe the lines will be shorter at Rendezvous.

I thought they were overrated. Pig on Beale was better

You can be disappointed, but then you grow up and support the team. Iowa State is a very good team. Memphis is a very good team. I think we have a great chance to win it. We won at freaking Oklahoma, I'm not afraid of 30,000 Memphis fans.

I don't get the people saying no respect. Granted, the opponent and location may be less than ideal, but we were picked ahead of two teams that beat us who had the same records. I'd call that a decent amount of respect.

still don't like facing Memphis on their home field, but it is what it is. Still a lot of good things about a close bowl game that is in driving range and will most likely have some nice economical bus packages to the game. Should be a good ISU crowd there.

Top 25 opponent offers a great opportunity. I would've been glad with any bowl game heading into the year. Let's face it, Iowa State had its chances to play its way into a better game at the end of the year, despite incompetent officiating.

That being said, this bowl selection process needs to be changed. Make it more like the NCAA tournament selection show. It was infuriating to just keep refreshing twitter hoping more news was released.
