Bohannon "Lames" Tweet

Funny reading this thread..... Niang and Jorbo basically are doing the exact thing, but to the butthurt Cy Fans, jorbo is a thug while Niang had a touch and unique way to troll and is just so much better than Jorbo at this stuff.

Only difference is we got our ass kicked in our own gym when Jorbo trolled us and was a thug, but Niang was pure genius when we kicked their ass in their gym. Am I the only one that can look at this objectively???

Get a grip people

I know that both teams hate this game and it is lame, but it is everyone’s “Twitter Super Bowl”.

Ex and current players from both sides, on average, tweet about this game 87% more than any other game of the season.
I would agree with you except for Kansas. You will see a lot on the twitters from ISU alums when the Kansas game is approaching. Although if they are playing this way leading up to that game they might not say much.

no one had ever blown a kiss at an opposing fan base before Niang, tho. He was the first. That’s why it was so genius.

Tim Floyd had a big named David Hickman he used to put into games to foul hard and harass opposing posts. We used to just call him the Hitman Hickman.

The only reason the Suns don't have an NBA championship is a role player came off the bench trying to injure the league MVP after a game had been decided. It often works...as long as a coach and team are willing to go there.

Probably one of the biggest plays in NBA history is Horry's bizarre attack on Nash. Completely decided a world championship.

You must have not been watching Floyd's teams at that time. Hickman never injured anyone and that was not the intent. Floyd identified opponent bigs who were shaky free throw shooters and in some games would put Hickman in after ISU's 6th team foul. He would promptly foul the shaky FT shooting big man. Yes it would be a hard foul to get in his head, but nothing that would injure. Then the big man would go to the line. If he hit one of two, he might get fouled again shortly. If he missed the front end of the 1 & 1 he almost certainly would get another hard foul the next time down the court. Floyd would potentially steal a couple of possessions while also getting in the head of an opposing big man. There were several times that this worked with both missed FTs as well as a big man getting off his game after getting clearly intentionally fouled two or three possessions in a row. To my knowledge Floyd never asked a player to intentionally injure an opponent nor was there ever the appearance that a player under Floyd intentionally injured an opponent in my recollection.

It is head scratching why this team can't play better against Iowa. This is back to back years of more or less thorough a$$ beatings. Does Iowa want it more? Sure looks that way. But therein lies the problem. Iowa State needs to want this game too, and there is no excuse to not want this game. They wanted Seton Hall last Sunday, I'm sure they'll want to beat IPFW next week. Why is the Iowa game any different?

Iowa hoops seems to play with a chip on their shoulder the way Mac football teams played Iowa with at the turn of the century. They have certainly adopted the little bro approach in basketball in regards to playing Iowa State. Hopefully after a couple bad losses to them, our guys bring a different approach to next years game. If Haliburton leaves, we'll be starting over again though. That's the biggest problem here IMO, our guys early in the season just haven't played together enough to be a cohesive unit yet. So much turnover from last year.

Haliburton was clearly disappointed in his teammates (and sometimes with himself) throughout this game. Kudos to him. Hopefully he is a little less friendly of a guy and rides his teammates in practices and games until he sees some change.

The problem with Bohannon’s trolling is it just seems so manufactured. Like he lays in bed at night trying to think of what to do or say. Niang was good at smack bc he just let it happen and his timing was perfect. Bohannon should have just done the shoes thing and not copied the kiss. Once you start copying people, it loses its luster. The shoes were original, but it was so long after the game was over he needed twitter to spread it. A “Niang level” of trolling would have been tossing his shoes into the crowd as the final buzzer sounded.

Bohannon's troll:
Blow a kiss, we have seen that before
Leave Shoes: exactly what Monte said he planned to do (per Bohannon post game)

Nothing original at all!!! That being said, both great troll jobs to flip the script on us. This is what makes the rivalry great and I for one hope it continues. Both sides have completely irrational fans that try their hardest to ruin the fun.

Bohannon isn't great at trolling, particularly because he isn't an impact player and basically cribbed his troll moves from other guys, but you have to love his passion.

Getting worked up over him would be like getting genuinely upset over someone's random bad food tweet.

JorBo is the pineapple on pizza of fanbase trolling.

Watching grown men argue on the internet which 20-22 year old basketball player trolled better.

Peak 2019. Crushing a Claw and lol'ing at you boomers right now.
I thought PBRs were the hipster thing? Or is it all claws now?

Pretty impressive beating an absolutely terrible team is that important to him

I think it's cool he was this passionate about it. Hawks are jackwads but this game and winning at Hilton with his team meant a lot to him.

Meant a lot to everyone on this board that we didn't but he's the jerk.

yeah no kidding. When you are just walking down the hall and take a sip of coffee in front of a picture, something just off the cuff, is great trolling.

Amazing how perfect a spontaneous photo can be... Crazy that someone was accidentally aiming a camera at that picture at the exact same time!

At the end of the day the hawks won and they won big on our floor. Why let them keep beating us day and and day out after by bashing the kid. Nobody cares what he did and we've used over 20 pages of posts to prove how little we care...
