Bohannon "Lames" Tweet

So he wrote on his shoes and just left them on the floor? That's supposed to mean what? I'm sure they are already packed away in a garage can and less than 30 minutes away from being in a dumpster.

Should’ve grabbed his nuts rather than just copy Georges. With this I’m just kind of like Son, I hope your hip feels better.

The thing that is funny is he is trying so hard, and in general nobody truly cares that much (yes I know there is a whole thread on him). But he honestly won't be brought up a few years from now, unlike how Georges still is. Why? Two things. 1) Georges was organic and natural with how he went about his trolling AND the more important one 2) Georges was relevant in the national media and college basketball landscape. Jorbo in the grand scheme is irrelevant, and in the Cy-Hawk rivalry there are countless other Hawkeyes that irritate/irritated ISU fans where trolling from them would make much more sense. It's just so pathetic how much Jorbo is forcing this role he is trying to desperately create.

I got news for you. There are a whole hell of a lot of media figures in this state who love the Hawkeyes passionately and were just dying, waiting, spending their whole lives for this moment. Leistikow probably had a spontaneous orgasm on the spot.

Bohannon is a low-rent Niang knockoff. Iowa fans, who suddenly care about basketball again, and a state full of sportswriters who long for Iowa to reclaim its "rightful" dominance of ISU, don't care. You'll be seeing this for a long time.

That's exactly my point. He is trolling and only getting love from the Hawk fans and media, but if you are truly trolling (which he is obviously trying to do so) your rival/the fan base you are trolling should be the ones paying the most attention and being driven mad by it. Georges to this day STILL riles up Hawk fans because he was so damn good at it, and the Hawk fans cared.

I am telling you ISU fans a year from now will be like, "Meh. Bohannon who? What ever happened to that guy?" You know you are bad at this and trying WAAAAYYY too hard when you have to gather the media (Hawk media mostly too) to make sure they see what you are about to do (signing the shoes and leaving them on the court. I mean there isn't a single player this year or last year on this ISU squad that truly seems to care (obvious by the last two performances), so it's just bizarre to watch that's all.

You have to have a heel and a mob response to it for it to work. Truthfully, nobody really cares that much. At least not to the level he is forcing this weird persona.

Pretty impressive beating an absolutely terrible team is that important to him

If Monte Morris would've gotten his chance to do that at Carver he'd have a statue in Ames right now.

Monte wan on a team with some pretty prolific trash talkers. He would have done something better than “memz” or he would have taken a beating from his teammates at the least.

Honestly probably not. A planned thing like the shoes is pathetic and just cries of desperation to create something. Especially when you have to make sure you get all the media ready and around you first.

Had Monte or any Cyclone done the same exact thing in the exact same way, I would call it forced and lame the same as I think this one is. A good troll job is Reggie Miller's choke signal against the Knicks. Wasn't planned or forced at all, but rather in the moment and way more impact. Bohannon's schtick is all forced way too hard and not landing that well truthfully.
