I am sure the potential is there. I imagine that TJ talked to VA staff and Tony Bennett about the VA prospects. Both TJ and Bennett are good at evaluating players
Warren Buffet! Heck, let him in for one minute, but we would have a great NIL.Do you like any players on our roster? Any portal adds?
TJ's the coach and has shown a solid eye for portal talent. Would I love a Tugler or Roberts? Sure.
Who would you like to see TJ go after in the portal.
Got a few Million $ you’d like to donate to WeWill??His video shows things that every 6'11" white guy should be expected to do. Dunking at that height doesn't = athleticism. He's a skinnier Chatfield. Let's not sugarcoat it, and act like we've added a big difference maker.
That is a fine role, and something our team can use for sure. But there was an outcry to get more athletic & skilled in the post this offseason. We have yet to add someone that is markedly better than this past season to say we really improved at that position.
Is Joker athletic? Or Niang for that matter?I thought we were looking for athleticism also? Does anyone believe that Cluff is athletic?
We’re going to see a lot of Jefferson at the 5 so I assume these 2 new bigs will average less minutes than Chat and Jackson. Get a scoring guard and we’ll be golden.Haha I love the optimism, but Jackson was able to do everything I just watched in that highlight video. Now, if he can catch a pass then we're in business.
I think he's on par athletically with Jackson and Chatfield - the major boost is his offensive skill and rebounding ability. We lacked both in the post this past season, so to get both weapons in one guy would be a huge upgrade.I thought we were looking for athleticism also? Does anyone believe that Cluff is athletic?
Don’t understand that.. Lose Gilbert and Jones. Bring in Rhode and Williams. That’s Lipsey, Rhode, Heise, Milan and Williams to play 3 positions. I hope Toure and Batemon are good but I’d be shocked if we played 6/7 guards. We must be really confident in Batemon and/or Toure hitting, or else the strategy thus far has been puzzling.
Assuming the $$ have to be there. I’m guessing they were for Cluff (assuming the rumors are true). If we do get him and a guard, hard to complain. We must be really confident in Batemon and/or Toure hitting, or else the strategy thus far has been puzzling.
An objective, significant downgrade. Hoping we could bring in a more dynamic guard, but again, maybe Batemon/Toure can help fill some of that void.Don’t understand that.. Lose Gilbert and Jones. I think the hope would be that Milan plays the 4 and Heise simply gets recruited over (Rhode)/the freshmen take all his minutes.Don’t understand that.. Lose Gilbert and Jones. Think it was going to be very tough to bring in guys as good as them BUT the new guys haven’t played a minute for us yet. When Gilbert and Curtis first got here, I didn’t know what to think. An objective, significant downgrade. If one of them can contribute as a freshman we should be good at guard. We must be really confident in Batemon and/or Toure hitting, or else the strategy thus far has been puzzling.
Yeah I don’t think we’re doing that at all. Heise is definitely not being recruited over and will play a lot next year.I think the hope would be that Milan plays the 4 and Heise simply gets recruited over (Rhode)/the freshmen take all his minutes.
The teams still playing all play great offense, but they also have players who can get their own shots. Other than Milan, I don't know anyone else who can do that. Hopefully one of the freshmen and maybe Williams will surprise us with their offensive skills.Looks like the staff is going back to a defense first team like the first two years. Going to be some low scoring games this upcoming season.
AND, I think I saw more passes be caught and finished in those highlights than I did by a certain player from this year's team, (who I very much appreciate and hope has a great next stop. Seemed like a nice guy. But one that could not handle many of the passes Jefferson was laying down.)He's more athletic than a 6'11" Jackson. And it's not close. If he has Chatfield's motor- it's a win.
