Black Cleats

I was in HS when Marshall Faulk was in college so I copied his all black shoes and full length black socks. Even sharpied out the white swoosh on the shoes. In retrospect not a good look, but felt pretty cool at the time.
I wore silver cleats as a sophomore in high school for soccer, which was pre-Chizik timeline, clearly ahead of my time in cleat fashion.
I didn't like them right away, but now I love them! I started using them in NCAA football as well.
I have always liked the all black accessories. Just a nice clean look overall in my opinion. White does make you look faster though. Believe me I needed every advantage I could get in the speed department!
Back in the day I was rocking a pair of these spikes on the track.

Maybe it's just me, but I couldn't have told you our shoe color to have saved my life. Just want a win. Don't give a rip about shoes, helmets or songs.
Offense should wear white cleats to make it harder to tell if they step on the sidelines.
White doesn't work either if you're clearly much slower than the other team.
I vote blaze orange so players can avoid running into one another.
Congrats to the OP for posting a uniform-related thread that didn't blow up in an hour. That's ******* impressive.
I'm not a big uniform guy, but I did think our uniforms at TCU looked a little off. I think it was the white socks and black cleats with the red pants.
Nobody really cares about what color cleats Iowa State wears...and if they do then I want their life because they must have no actual problems going on.
