Does the Awkward silence from Pollard raise any eyebrows? it does to me, last year around this time he said he's keeping GMac, now this year? Something's not right here..

I would only support a coaching change at this point for someone with a proven track record in a big conference, like BG has. If Pollard were to go out and fire McDermott then replace him with another up-and-comer from the mid-majors, then I say, "what's the point?"

If you do that, you're rolling the dice. If there's 50% chance of success\failure there, that's still better than 90% chance of continued failure keeping things the same.

Just getting rid of GMac is priority #1. I will be happy when that happens.

If we get this coach though....it would be a step in the right direction IMO.

Why did you leave out turnovers and fouls?

because they weren't on the stat line I was looking at.

he averaged 2.18 fouls and 1.62 turnovers per game. His 1.8 Assist to Turnover ratio was 10th in the Big 12 his senior year.

All I know is that if these rumors are completley unsubstantiated, JP and Mac's hole to climb out of has gotten a bit depper. I think alot of people are invested in the idea of bringing in a new coach next year, especially after the conversation surrounding these rumors. If he is back next year, look out Mac and JP, because you may have one large, empty, quiet arena next year.
