Big XII Seeding

I fully expect KU to win by 35+, but could you imagine how effing hilarious that would be?

With Tang gone I suppose I could root for KSU again.
You're a better man than me. I will never root for those ********. Even their media bought into the Spygate ******** with mean-spirited gusto. EMAW is just a bag of dicks.

is it just me or would i prefer the 6 over the 5. not saying i necessarily want to lose to ASU at home, especially from a NCAA seeding standpoint BUT

i'd prefer a path of AZ St/OK St -- Tech -- Houston

over

baylor -- kansas -- arizona

path is irrelevant though, if team doesn't shoot better.

ASU loss on Saturday probably hurts NCAA seeding more than winning a few Big 12 games would help it.

Agree and said the same earlier this week. Nobody is rooting for it, but that path is much better.

FYI for those going to KC, you can still buy tickets at face value through the T-Mobile Center for the Thursday morning 4/5 game that will likely be ISU/KU. We got 2nd row balcony tix for $50 all in. I imagine once things are finalized, ticket costs will skyrocket because of ISU/KU fans.

I do wonder how many KU fans would actually take off work to attend a Thursday morning game for this KU team tho.

Maybe. But having gone to every ISU game in KC for the last several years, getting a ticket to a decent game for $50-$60 isn’t bad and the chances third party resale goes below face, especially for an ISU/Kansas game, is pretty low.

Of course there is some gamble that ISU doesn’t win on Wednesday.

Still a very good chance Tech is the 4 and KU is the 3. If Tech loses at BYU and KU wins the above scenario will happen.

Yep.

I'm not willing to take a Quad 2B loss and drop a seed line in Big 12 tournament just to have possibly a more favorable path. I'm not even sure if it's that much easier, and the only detail that's likely to affect much is avoiding a loss in opener (whether that's 12/13 or 11/14).

No. Just saying if you lose to ASU at home it doesn't matter what seed we are in KC. You can't get beat by ASU at home. They have won 1 Big 12 road game at Utah.
I know what you're saying but it's different if you feel we don't deserve to go vs we shouldn't go. And even that is you're opinion.

I’m glad if we win our first we face Tech instead of Kansas. But tech has lost a couple in a row now…that game will be tough.
