When was the last time ISU had a big like this?

Please don't say McKay. He needed all sorts of stuff going on to get his.

The better question is when has the other team had a big take over against Iowa State when we have been to small to stop them? The answer to my question is more recent than yours.

I guess when he said true big I didn't think of White, the point forward. Brackins didn't come to mind either as he was more front facing, jump shooting, never really the "big" on the teams he was on etc.

I agree, BUT, to space the floor you need shooters and dribble penetration guys. We are in short supply. Portal time!

Lard averaged 12 pts, 8 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks his freshman year. Far from terrible, actually really good

His rebounding rate is slightly better on defense, worse on offense, and worse overall than Conditt's.

Edit: Past few games now have them basically tied overall. So still, Jones does not rebound the ball better.

Yeah, terrible was harsh. He was certainly serviceable when he was staying out of foul trouble. Not dominant though.

Conditt and Jones combined for 38 min, 21 pts & 10 rebounds yesterday. I have been critical of both, but this was one of their best performances. Good for them and Hunter for the assists.
