OSU and ISU each have two byes in the first round. I don't think we've ever had the same as them.
Evan with a bye 1st round is probably a good thing.
For me it’s hard to argue with him getting the 7 since he lost to 6 seed Soldano, got pinned by 3 seed Neitenbach and hasn’t wrestled for a month (not taking the mat against Bush, Sinclair or Fox)
I’d have to see how Ryder got the 2 seed though, or how Fox got the 5 (are his two injury victories over Soldano and Ryder worth that much???)
Is he still a bit dinged up, or are you just worried about lack of mat time and conditioning?
I was more concerned about the weight control. I think he weighed in for UNI dual, but didn’t wrestle. But the extra time, has to be a good thing
I’m think I wished he had a tune up vs a low ranked guy given how long he’s been out.
He will get that. Gage Walker is ranked in the high 20’s.
Typically one of the main seatings is head to head stuff so if he lost to a 6 seed, it makes sense for him to be a seven

Ran through brackets and I have 10 OSU guys in the finals…. That would be nauseating.
