Big 12 Tournament Thread

Maggie in a walking boot? I’m assuming that’s precautionary with her injury history. Anyone know if she’s periodically worn this through the season?

Trying to see if there are any rules for the venue. Masks required? Clear bag policy?
Anyone have any info?
Thanks!
I would use a clear bag. They will wand you on entering. Some are more particular than others. No masks required

Win tonight and essentially play Texas for a 2 seed. Looking at the brackets, there’s not that much difference in the 6 & 7 seeds IMO but of course it would nice to secure that 2 seed

We left after OSU easily handled TT to watch TT easily handle ISU MBB. Yes there’s beer and mixed drinks at Municipal. Very casual wanding at entrance - my wife had a clear bag which wasn’t examined. I followed the scoring in WVU easy win over TCU and recall when low seed WVU ran the table. Can’t look past anyone. We got an email from ISU about our Ticketmaster tix not working and suggesting we talk to the Municipal ticket office. Only Session 1 transferred to Google wallet. Ticket office knew nothing and said if the Bar code comes up in TM, that’s enough. We didn’t use our Sec 210 Row G seats but they’re not as bad as feared. Accessible seating is much more comfortable but that might not work today.

I sat over in 106 with Acoustimac and 4 of his wild eyed buddies. I had to pick my boots up several times because it starting getting really deep. I suspect it'll get even deeper today.

For those there how they changed other parts of Municipal from like 10 years ago? They now have a big 12 logo court. It always used to be the generic Municipal court with the Welcome to Kansas City Logo. It also looks like they went to the darkening features that Hilton does. Almost doesn't look much like Municipal on TV. Also weren't the bench on the other side or have they changed where the camera sits?

Not very good and from a corner, but yes, definitely different.

Super physical first half. Actually might be a good test before getting assaulted by Texas tomorrow. Hopefully our shots continue to fall.

Really hate when our last second shot set is having Ashley go one on one from top of the key. I get she is our best player but that’s not her biggest strength and you have one of the best playmaking point guards in the country that can get someone a shot.

Yeah taking the ball out of your PG and best ball handler/assists makers hand in the 4th quarter is a head scratcher. Are we even running plays.

I hate this time of year, the post-season, where officials are told NOT to be the deciding factor in games, the infamous "let them play" moniker, I hate that. In punishes good shooting teams that get mugged with few foul calls. Look at that loss last year to A&M, where they wouldn't call fouls late. Just so frustrating, WAY too much being ignored by the officials.
