Was looking to see what Big12 hoops games I wanted to watch today and realized it's time to get out my credit card and buy some new TV subscriptions. The Cyclones play Baylor on Peacock this Wednesday!

I have the ESPN/Fox Streaming bundle along with HBO/Max, but need to add: Peacock & Paramount+ to get all the Clone games.

They are putting games on NBC Sports, those game may be on that instead.

Since I’m a chump, I got peacock to watch Packers vs Ravens. I didn’t see NBC sports on YTTV so not sure if I’m good to cancel?

No thanks. College sports isn't worth paying for another subscription to me. Even if it is ISU. Heck... the players will probably take the money and transfer out next year anyway.

Have no fear, I may not work in TV, but I can guarantee that your subscription money is going directly into the pocket of an executive, not some random college basketball player.

Something like YTTV or Hulu Live will cover all of these. Gets you the ESPNs, Fox and Fox Sports, CBS, and as long as the Peacock games are also on NBCSN which it seems they are then you have those too.

Houston at Cinci is supposed to be at 1pm yet there's still 8 min left of the Providence at St. Johns game currently on fox or is that just a look in until?

That still doesn’t cover CBS Sports Network games.

Remember Paramount+ does not get you CBSSN.

The Nebraska MSU game was last night.
Exactly. That B1G game last night was listed as Peacock. But on my YTTV, the game was available from the NBC Sports channel. So, perhaps no Peacock needed? But I agree with others, I can miss a couple games rather than fork over more $$$. Although I would like to watch us humiliate this NBA-drafted center.

Its no guarantee that'll be on there, but yeah, NBC Sports Network is airing "highlighted" peacock games.

With how few games there are though that I A) will feel the need to watch and B) won't be on NBCSN, it'd probably be easier to just go to a bar and watch rather than subbing to peacock again.

NBCSN is on YTTV, yes.

But not all of the Peacock games will be simulcast on NBCSN.

Guide on YouTube didn't show ISU on Wednesday for NBCSN. Hope it's wrong and is on. Time will tell.

I’ll listen to Walters and Heft on the Varsity app for free. I already subscribe to YTTV, Disney/Hulu/ESPN, Netflix, Paramount+. I’m not bucking up more for 2 games on Peacock. I know it’s only $8/month or whatever but I’m getting tired of it. Netflix is the next to go. I drop YTTV in April as soon as basketball season is over. If it wasn’t for the kids I’d drop Disney too.

If you have an AMEX you get Walmart+ for free which gives you Peacock for free. Just logged into the peacock for the first time. Yeah it's as much of a waste as you think it is.

Peacock does have way, way more college basketball than it used to. Might be worth the purchase for just a couple of months during the conference part of the season.

Yeah, I’m going to wait until Wednesday to figure it out for sure, but the way ESPN lists it compared to the other two Peacock games doesn’t look promising. IMG_5724.jpeg
