BIG 12 continues to distance itself...

The 1 seeds don't necessarily depend on conference, but the breakdown that keeps showing up is about right.

Kentucky, Duke, Arizona, and somebody will be the ones. That's pretty much set, barring a spectacular collapse from one of those 3.

Highly likely. The one among those three with the most competition in-conference is Duke, and ACC could end up with two 1 seeds if it splits regular season/conference, and neither Big 12 nor Big Ten champs get separation.

The Big 10 had another horrible Saturday. Mich St losing at home to 1-8 Texas Southern?

This is historic. When has something like this happened in the last 40 years?

At the end of the season a one loss big 10 team will still get picked over a one loss big 12 team for the playoff........

I like all the positive talk about the Big 12 conference being the best this year, but I don't like that most analyst always mention Kansas and Texas as the top two teams in the conference. I think both have shown some weakness early on. I hope we prove everyone wrong about this and sweep them both.

Every team in the Big 12 has shown some weaknesses early on. It's hard to get a gauge on teams until they get into conference and start playing each other. All I know for certain is that the Big 12 is bludgeoning the rest of the country overall. Amazing non-con season this year for the Big 12.

Wisconsin is the other one. They are going to load up on wins vs a crappy conference. I also agree with other posters that say ISU will end up in Kentucky's bracket.

The winner of the Big 12 will not be in Kentucky's bracket. The winner will be a #1 seed or at worst the highest #2 seed. That puts the Big 12 winner in the weakest #1 bracket. The only way to get into the Kentucky bracket is to be the #8 or 9 team. So finishing second in the Big 12 might land you in Kentucky's bracket. So winning the conference OR finishing 3rd is probably key.

With the weekends results, the BIG10 did move back into 3rd on KenPom. Must of been Maryland's win. They are virtually tied with BigEast. BIG12 in solid first.
