So you want those coaches back too so they could go .500 vs. Iowa and .250 on the season?

Not sure who the 'standard Iowa State dan' is, but that is likely because I do not know you, as you do not know me. For the record, I am a disappointed fan that sees that this team could be 4-0 right now and I believe comfortably, but for play calling and preparation. Both of those are on the coaches. I still like our coaches, and still think we are better of than before. You are clearly making assumptions about me you should not. I never talked smack to any hawk fans that I know, because this is year 4 of a staff that has made me question their play calling, so I never believe we will win when we should. I have not had a hawk fan give me **** because I don't talk crap unless I am 95% sure we will back it up. I also do not believe that CMC knows more about football than I do. I just know that play calling is not going well, based on the product on the field. I suspect we will have our streak of 3-4 wins now and everyone will be happy till we hit the OU and TU games. You remember those teams we were going to compete with for championships.

Players and fans of teams who lose should not say it, but of course it can be true. When we beat OU in 2017, I don’t remember anyone saying we had the better team. That would have been silly. However If OU players or fans had said they were the better team, then it’d have been pure bullsh. Shut up when tou lose. Suck it up and #proveit.

I think isu is better man for man and would beat those teams 6 out of 10. But it doesn’t work that way. The opportunity to prove it is passing by.

typo. Fan was the intended word.

and you really don’t believe a head coach at a ncaa school knows more than you do about football?

Do you not count OL into “overall talent?” After all, that’s nearly 1/2 the players on the field when on offense. That’s where games usually are won or lost. Where did ISU have better overall talent than Baylor? Just wondering....

Last time we beat Iowa, we got smoked by an FCS school worse than I ever thought was possible and went 0-9 in the Big 12 including getting smoked by KU. That wasn’t fun.

ISU football is like that soap opera your mom used to watch when you were a kid. You can turn it back on years later and it's the exact same story line and you can pick up right where you left off. I'm starting to think ISU football will always be ISU football. I've seen it play out for the past 40 years. I'm getting so tired of the "we need one more year" or "we're not quite there yet". Maybe this IS the "one more year" and we're actually at the top of where we're going. I love CMC and where our program is at, but maybe the past couple years is as good as it gets for ISU football. Blast away....I have thick skin.
