They have such long breaks I may need to go back and rewatch some to refresh myself.

I don't have AMC so I've been watching on Netflix. Just finished the last season a few weeks ago. Who knows, but I don't see things ending well for Nacho. Although I suppose if you take a long view on it things don't turn out all that great for anyone in the Breaking Bad universe.

Another "Breaking Bad" character is entering the world of "Better Call Saul" — and show creator Vince Gilligan says the person who's returning was "very important" in the original.

"We’re going to meet [that character] this year,” Gilligan assured a crowd at New York City's AMC Summit, according to the Hollywood Reporter. "I’m not promising you ever saw this character, but there was a very important character nonetheless from the Breaking Bad era who we’re going to meet this year. You’re going to be impressed with him."

Executive producer Melissa Bernstein told Hollywood Reporter the character Gilligan was most likely referencing was Lalo, a mysterious person mentioned by Saul on "Breaking Bad" but never seen.

"There might be a reference to this character in Saul's initial appearance on 'Breaking Bad.' When Saul is held at gunpoint by Walt and Jesse, Saul (mistakenly thinking that people sent by a person named Lalo are holding him at gunpoint) says 'it wasn't me, it was Ignacio,'" a "Breaking Bad" fan site explains.

Aside from Lalo, Bernstein hinted that a few other original characters will be making a comeback.

"We have a couple of new characters that we’ll be reintroducing to the world," she told the entertainment site. "We probably don’t want to say who yet, just to preserve the fun of that for the fans."

Gilligan didn't give fans any other major spoilers, but he did promise an action-packed Season 4.

“Season 4 is so good,” he said on a panel this week. “It gets darker, it gets richer. It’s still got funny in it, but on the Venn diagram of ‘Breaking Bad’ and ‘Better Call Saul,’ the overlap in the center is getting bigger and bigger.”

So freaking pumped but not going to watch until my second run through on seasons 1-3. Almost done with season 2 so should just be another few days. A. I think the show is even better the second time through. B. It's really helped to jog my memory.

You gotta think Jimmy really makes the turn this season now. Also excited for more Gus.

Yeah I was going to re-watch last season too but didn't have time to. Hopefully it will come back to me when I start watching the new episodes.

So what did you make out of the Opening Scene last night? Think it was just a dream or not?

I assume not, but you never know.

Kind of an awkward transition episode in a way (though they handled it as well as you could), but I'm looking forward to what it portends (I'm thinking the action heats up quite a bit this season).

I binged BCS this past week and caught the premiere of Season 4.

It was a difficult episode to watch. Chuck was such a great foil for Jimmy that it makes sense for the path to Saul to now be much easier. What is a little sad to think about is that, while the show is still set, what, six years before Breaking Bad - we know ultimately he is going to wind up with nobody substantial left in his life. Kim doesn’t go to Omaha with him, so we can assume she is gone. No Chuck. Mike doesn’t care about him and he seems fine in BB with Mike’s trip to Belize.

This is the season he turns for sure, with the trailer they played there is no doubt.
