Yes, to make it look like they don't pay much attention to them. That they are just a number and are kinda irrelevant to them.

what ticked me off was when chuck said that he would do the same for jimmy. Chuck has tried to ruin jimmy as a lawyer because he thinks it embarrasses him. He is an arrogant ***

That's what I thought as well. And from the look of next weeks preview, Chuck finds the issue and realizes what Jimmy did.

I thought Jimmy got rid of the originals? Or are you suggesting that MV still has copies somewhere else? I think that's why it shows him going back to the copy place (get the video tape before Chuck gets it).

Has to be more copies. Don't think there would be a business that would turn all originals over.

When Jimmy initially went to the copy place, he asked for their best copier. Don't many higher end (or maybe all?) copy machines store or capture electronic copies of everything copied? Even back in 2002 or whenever this is taking place? Maybe that's why Jimmy is going back there, to erase it before Chuck and his firm start snooping around for evidence.

Also, I have a feeling, even when Kim and Jimmy finally end things in BCS, we'll see her again. Wouldn't surprise me if they're together in Omaha, where Jimmy ends up after BB. I could see the final scene of BCS being Jimmy taking a smoke break from his mall gig, and up walks Kim taking one from her mall job, and they chat business as usual (similar to their parking garage scenes now).

Mike heard the compressed air tire nut guns while watching the shop, why he smiled when the door was down to the shop, and realized the drugs were being smuggled in the tires. Curios to see how and where he sets the trap.

I thought that was pretty obvious. To get back at Chuck and HHM for taking Mesa Verde from Kim to spite Jimmy.

That's what's great about the show. Jimmy isn't really the good guy, but you root for him anyway, just like Walter White in Breaking Bad. Chuck has every reason to not trust Jimmy and try to expose him as a dirty lawyer, but the audience still roots for Jimmy because he's so likable.

I do find myself sorta upset with myself for liking jimmy. He is slimy and not a positive individual, but like you said he's likeable. Worked with a guy like that.

There had to be better reasons for changing the numbers. It seems to be a stupid way to fix it. If he really wanted kim to keep the account, he could just talk with MV about his brother the loon. Tell them to have chuck meet at their bank and put their cell phones in his site, or go out for lunch. It would do him in.

I personally don't think Jimmy is that bad of a guy. The stuff he does, in my opinion, are minor and nothing outrageous (yet). He knows his brother is full of **** and takes every opportunity to screw over Jimmy or anyone associated with him.

See, I don't think the primary intent was for Chuck to hurt Jimmy. Mesa Verde is a new, profitable client, and if a business made a practice of having the attitude "oh, well, that's okay. Our former colleague needs this client more than we do as she's starting her own business. There are more fish in the sea and we have plenty anyway" they wouldn't be in business for very long. So, IMO, the primary purpose of making sure Mesa Verde stayed on board with HHM was it was good for their business. Now, from Chuck's and HHM's perspective, it does have the nice side perk of screwing Jimmy.

That being said, nothing is stopping Jimmy from thinking Chuck and HHM "stole" Mesa Verde from Kim as a dirty way to screw Jimmy by proxy - that's just who Jimmy is, which is why he's fighting dirty to make HHM look bad.

It didn't seem Chuck was very worried about Mesa Verde until Howard told him Kim was partnering with Jimmy then Chuck was ALL IN to help with Mesa Verde. That told me it was about screwing someone associated with Jimmy.
