If you cross the border in Prairie Du Chien you NEED to stop at Starks. Great liquor prices and you can pick up a 5th of whiskey AND a hi-power rifle in the same aisle. To me this store is the essence of Wisconsin. Boats, tackle, booze and guns.

Yup. Stark's is a god damn national treasure. It also has the cheapest beer prices I've seen since Keg Shop Fire Sale circa '02-'05.

30 box of Blatz and the ilk for like $11. Can't beat it. They also have cheap liquor, some cheese curds/meat and a good craft beer selection if you do want it. New Glarus regular stuff can be found for $7 a 6 pack sometimes there.
