How's their top 15 class looking?
I don't follow enough to know how many players were re evaluated. I'll take whatever I can get I suppose. 50 seems super low compared to where we have been the last two seasons, but I'm not really concerned. Campbell can find talent.
It is low, but mostly because the players they identified didn’t get the across the board boosts they would have other years—when there were camps all summer.
Hunter Dekkers is a good example of that.
Our coaches tend to rely on overlooked, underrecruited players much more than most schools. They like to get in first.
CMC doesn’t try to go head to head with big name schools very often—especially when he can find a recruit at the “bargain table” who’s just as good as theirs.
In a normal year, those kids even out as they get more exposure, and other schools recognize how good they are. This year, not so much.
I see he is listed at 6'2 205, which is great size for a freshmen DB
Remember when we used to get these 6-2, 6-3, 190 LBs? Now our DBs are that big and bigger. We could have two of the biggest safeties in college football in a couple of years with Freyler and the 6-4, 215 Malik Verdon. They are both likely to get bigger after benefitting from a college weight room.

I think it’s pretty common for a HS commit to be undersized. Actually I think them being college sized already is more rare. It’ll be interesting to see what a few years under Andrew’s does, for everyone really. He’s already made a major change in his what year and a half here? Imagine a RS senior with him their whole college career.

I know you said you were just funning, but none of the guys you listed are 6-2 to 6-3 and 190. Imming is listed at 215, not 200, and Willich, the closest guy to the measurements I listed, is still 15 pounds heavier than 190. The point was, we used to get a lot of LBs in safety bodies and now we seem to be getting a lot of safeties in LB bodies without having to build them up in the weight room before they're useful at the position for which they were recruited. The LBs we recruit now are mostly in the 6-3 to 6-4 range and considerably heavier than 190.
We used to sign the 5 5 to 5 7 corners quite often. Was not pleasant when they went up against 6 4 to 6 5 ends.
10 Pounds heavier not 15. But close enough.

Not according to Aclone, who listed him at 205, which is what I was responding to. And he is indeed listed at 205 on the commitment list at Rivals.
