My wife told me if the 511 still has a “no tow” we aren’t going to Ames. I told her to stop acting like a ***** Hawkeye…. But seriously, hope they clear the roads.

Watching wrestling is the most stressful of all sports for me. I find myself straining as if I'm on the mat myself. The spotlight shines so bright on the competitors (unlike team sports), and the defeats can be so crushing that I don't know how parents of wrestlers cope with it.

I have much respect for wrestling and cross country athletes.

They did a really good job of clearing the snow on our cul-de-sac in Ames around 7:30pm last night. It should be no problem getting around town once you get here.

My best friend who works for Levy said he went 40 all the way up to Ames from Ankeny. Drive was sh*tty but they did make it to Hilton! Slow & Steady. Hopefully a little closer to midday it'll clear up a little more.

Yeah leave it to us to of course get a snow storm this weekend. I hate driving in this bad weather so I get the hesitation. :-)

I’m heading down from North Central Iowa soon. Thinking about taking 65 South.

I have my small kids excited to come. Hwy 30 is still “travel not advised” and a tow ban. I’m not happy
