Anyone arguing that women's basketball is more fun to watch than mens basketball needs to take a heavy dose of their medicine. I don't think anyone in here is claiming that though so good job folks.

I was sitting next to the TU fans, same attitude different color shirt. TU players were doing the same don't kid yourself. It was hilarious during the review how Pat was saying the TU player was just trying to help her up, I don't think so. How come there is no mention of the TU players leaving their bench also?
I hate Griner i don't think she is that talented. All she has is height.
I was there unreal that it took the refs 15 minutes to just call a double technical. The NCAA President was in attendance and just like when David Stern in the NBA crazy stuff usually happens. I really hope Baylor loses in Denver. Was sitting right next to Baylor fans and it was so unbearable lol. In their opinion they NEVER do anything wrong and the other team is always doing something wrong or illegal. Griner gets away with murder.
You cant coach height. Just an advantage, like leaping ability.
She really isn't that much taller than Prins...at least when they were recruited Prins was just an inch or two shorter.
If you are a young adult 4' 7" and can't jump and you are a very excellent basketball player. You could get playing time on the Texas Tech mens team!!!
It's just very lucky for Baylor that there was not a fight, and that the players on the court or off the bench did not get pulled into something and suspended. Can you imagine them being 38-0, two games from a national championship that they've set on a pedestal since losing to A&M last year, and playing (and losing) without starters and All Americans in the semifinals? Just because they lacked the discipline to act with some class and/or follow the rules in game that was already over with?
That's also why you don't leave Sims in the game when she's not needed. She is unpredictable. She may get on a shooting streak, be quick as heck, but if you cannot count on her to be a leader, it's not worth it. I would not want her in an ISU uniform unless and until she cleaned up her act.
Oddly enough, the ejection incident should never have happened if the right things had happened first. Sims shouldn't have been trying to muscle up a shot. She should have been on the bench already. Or at least she should have been passing to her reserve teammates to give them a chance to score in a regional final game -- she sure didn't need to pad her scoring stats.
People are still talking about women's basketball?
Mulkey pulled the starters, but sent Sims back in for some reason, perhaps to handle the ball.
She left Sims in for that very reason. If you saw the game Sat you would understand why...the reserves blew a 31 point lead and let GT cut it to 15 because of turnovers. The reserve guards are a huge drop off and couldn't handle the pressure.
