Baseball is darn near a perfect game as it stands, but I would like a pitch clock put in place. There's no reason a game should last four hours. That's the beauty of college basketball in my opinion. You know if you sit down to watch you'll be done in about two hours with tv timeouts and everything.

I've seen very few baseball games last 4 hours. Unless Edwin Jackson is pitching for the Cubs because he can't get anyone out, but I digress.

I believe that the major league record for the shortest 9 inning game is 1 hr. 26 min. There are probably some games today with the expanded time between innings, multiple pitching changes and replay delays where there is 1 hr. 26 min. of commercials.

Because it is the only thing more boring than soccer.

The only thing more boring than the NFL is the constant talk about it 365 days a year and the numerous fantasy leagues that are meaningless. No sport has been more overhyped EVER. It has gotten to the point where I can't listen to sports radio anymore because over half of the talk is about NFL when other sports are being played.

You could make baseball faster and I'd still only take a passing interest in it.

You could make soccer high scoring and not end ties by playing a completely different game but I still wouldn't care.
