Avatar in IMAX

has anyone heard of an IMAX theatre in Iowa that will be showing Avatar? I'm dieing to see the movie but I want the full IMAX experience..

From what I've heard IMAX may be the only way to make the movie enjoyable, but I have not seen it.

I saw it in 3-D (non IMAX), and it was awesome. I know people who saw it non 3-D as well, and still thought it was awesome.

I'll be interested to hear how it is in IMAX, but I haven't talked to someone yet who didn't like it.

I know I saw it in Council Bluffs at the Star Cinema in IMAX. I beleive they are still showing it in the IMAX. I know everyone I have talked to and I also had to get tickets atleast a couple hours ahead of time except for the late show. After seeing it in IMAX 3D I can't imagine seeing it any otherway.

I saw it in 3D, and it's a good movie. Very imaginative and enjoyable, though the story grated on my nerves a bit.

The movie was simply okay. The effects were outstanding though.

It is supposed to be coming to the imax in davenport, but they have yet to announce a start date.

I saw it at Navy Pier IMAX it was amazing (I had already seen it in 3-D) even if you have already seen it, if you loved the effects IMAX is well worth it.
