Auto Insurance Claim due to an STD?

When insurance companies lose money, just means your premiums go up! You might be one of the few people who enjoy paying more. You must love inflation!

My guess is every insurance company in America is going to soon send out an addendum to existing policy holders providing an exclusion for STD's.

Or a special rider to cover insured in case they give someone an STD. Wonder how an actuarial comes up with the probability and appropriate fee for that;)

Except insurance companies never lose money.

Insanity, why did they send it to arbitration? That was their mistake. Should have just denied the claim as this had nothing to do with auto insurance.

They probably did it to save costs on avoiding sending it to court. A previous company I worked for had an arbitration clause in my employment agreement.

I assume insurance companies like using this a lot in order to settle claims quickly and cheaply.

Also, I'm no lawyer but I believe decisions by arbitrators set no legal precedent like a judgement might.
