It'll be interesting to see what she does on another team with a different set of coaches.

ISU was 7th in 2024-2025 at 9998 fans / game, approximately 650 fans per game behind #6 Tennessee. AI says 2025-2026 stats are still being accumulated. Iowa is #2 and Drake is #48. Iowans love girls / women’s basketball!
I said this a week or more ago in the Bill thread, but noting it will be nearly impossible for ISU to get to the final four in WBB, due to lack of parity at the top, there’s literally reason to be mad at someone like Audi or Addy for choosing to either go to one of those teams that actually does have a chance…or to just take a big paycheck. ISU leadership has nothing to be ashamed of with the program they have. They just would have invest significantly more to change things. That likely isn’t in either possible or in the best interest of the university at this time.
Guards transferred out because Bill's offensive scheme is a disaster.Follow the timeline…Tanke, LT, Jensen and Wilson were the first to announce.
There were tons of open shots for the guards, and Brown, in the Syracuse game; none of them could hit the broad side of a barn.Guards transferred out because Bill's offensive scheme is a disaster.
now do the rest of the season...There were tons of open shots for the guards, and Brown, in the Syracuse game; none of them could hit the broad side of a barn.
Just had this conversation over the weekend how you can basically fill out your WBB brackets and advance all 1 and 2 seeds to the Elite 8 and it's no shock who winds up in the Final 4 nearly every year. Those schools were already powerhouses before NIL and now can basically assemble super teams because they can outspend everyone in NIL. Most schools are not going to be able to spend that kind of NIL money as there are only a few WBB programs in the country that generate positive revenue as it is. It's unfortunate but there really is no good solution to the problem right now as long as the best players are chasing NIL money.NIL has crippled all of the momentum the women's game had towards more parity. It's literally back to like 6-8 teams that will even have a shot at a final 4. Iowa fans are slowly starting to realize they aren't even close to being in that discussion....
Agree. But yet, there are many on this board who believe our best players are not chasing NIL cash.…..Most schools are not going to be able to spend that kind of NIL money as there are only a few WBB programs in the country that generate positive revenue as it is. I have no doubt that Audi, Addy, and Jada are but I doubt the rest are going to garner anything of significance for NIL. I'm not saying NIL is the ONLY reason they are leaving but it surely will factor into where they end up at I bet. All 3 were All-Big 12 level players so they are going to get some offers.Agree. Blum’s take on lure of more $$$ for athletes leaving was interesting. If you haven't, the discussion on Williams and Blum is really relevant and insightful to Audi transferring and WBB.
For one, I was completely blind to that the team didn't enjoy playing together. I thought they were just worn down from a disappointing season.

I’ve heard much the same from inside the athletic dept. There were some things going on that were well hidden. Based on the women’s comments you’d never know it. But as the last 1/3 of the season unfolded you could see (hindsight) something wasn’t right. I remember seeing a comment somewhere on CF that if the order of transfer announcements changed we might not have seen some of the starters leave. More truth to that than most could imagine. If you haven't, the discussion on Williams and Blum is really relevant and insightful to Audi transferring and WBB.

That is surprising considering she is very limited offensively and somewhat adequate as a backup post defensively. If that is the going rate for someone that has averaged 8.6 MPG over 3 years that is crazy.Heard over the weekend Alisa Williams is going to receive well into six figures so to think that others are not chasing the $$ may not be correct.
