Kids are always going to be drawn to the newest bells and whistles, and will expect both, great facilities and to be paid top dollar to sign there. Programs like Kansas or Northwestern, having out of world facilities will allow them to bring in better players as long as the money is there to keep paying them.I could see this aspect decreasing in value. Now that you can pay players, the importance of new fancy facilities every couple of years may diminish. You still need to have good facilities, but you don’t have to out do your competitors. Before NIL, having fancy facilities and amenities was the only legal way to recruit and sway/woo players.
