Assistant Coaches

I love what he is saying but didn't he leave late in the year at another school to come to us for the year? Am I mixing something up here with another school or coach? I am very happy he sees opportunity with us and helps him along his career path.
There was some salt in the wound after Matt Entz leaving NDSU that he didn't get the head job then. So he left to be the OC at Tennessee State, until our RB coaching spot opened up.

Quite interesting that there was quite a bit of angst on CF at how slow Rogers was rolling out his staff, and now our whole staff is public while CMC has only publicly announced ~7 guys on his staff.

That Cincy staff is getting fired next year, Viedt just jumped on a preferred landing spot.
They are clearly going to be using a lot of the Heacock concepts, with as many ISU defensive transfers as will be there. They will need a guy to teach it since the Professor isn't going along. Broomfield is the only other guy with a history at ISU on the defensive coaching staff.

Good luck teaching it without Heacock there. I sure they can teach the concepts but I doubt they can replicate his in-game coaching AND are they going to try to force the system on the new DC?

I’d be surprised if the DC from USC will run a 3 man front, etc.
I didn't suggest that they would. But given the personnel coming over they would use the concepts. You can't take that many slow linebackers into a traditional system and make it work IMO.

That’s why I was shocked Campbell took all three LBs. I think they’ll see a lot of the games from the sidelines.
