Has the rot started to creep in?

I would like to be absolutely clear that I stand by every word that I said after the Memphis bowl game. We got humiliated by a mid-tier school with an interim coach! We were in no way ready for that game, even though we had the better part of a month to prepare for it.

I made some minor mistakes at my job a week ago. I very much deserved the mild criticism I got for it. Campbell probably makes more in a day than I make in a month, but I suppose that makes him BEYOND criticism for anything he does? To paraphrase somebody's uncle (or aunt), "With great pay comes great responsibility". At least, that is the way it SHOULD work. I guess that isn't the way things actually are.

Funny he didn't start a new thread about it.

Meh. By any objective measure, Memphis was the better team last year. We almost lost to them on their home field the time before, and we lost to Tulsa. The opinion that ISU has to beat any G5 team for no other reason is that they are G5 just demonstrates ignorance.

And CMC isn’t even paid his value. Another ignorant statement to think he should beat every team, every time if he makes more than their coach.

But you Rotters continue to be good for a laugh. We look forward to your continued insights of how CMC should run ISU football.

Here I was going to make a joke about Campbell being out of gas—but having two weeks to fuel up, but…how do you follow that up?

Sadly there are too many people more than willing to make a habit of trying to rub people's faces in their comments months and months after and when different context applies.

Sorry, which one of our 7 wins and 0 losses do you want to criticize him for exactly?
