Are We Good Again?

Hopefully all the clueless people who didn't think Prohm could coach saw the things he was doing today. The zone Defense, slowing down the offense when we didn't have numbers to allow some rest on offense and run some clock. This was a big win weather K State is a good team or not

He did a very good job of dissing the tie as well.

Really? I'm not even a negative bball poster.

Interesting that we were 2-3 in the same games (at differ times) last year.

Every year is a dumpster fire.

The play-by-play guy said that about being 1-3 in the same games so far, but he was wrong and you are right. ISU won at Texas last year. But we just made that up with today's win, because we lost @ K-State last year. So we are 2-3 in the same five games.

Might have been Nader best game for playing under control. He really looked like he was thinking about where he was going with the ball on his drives. Ashton wasnt impressive but held his own and didnt look like a liability.

Nader had some nice assists too.

Still lower top-25. No real difference imo, other than KSU being significantly less of a challenge.

We're a legit top 20 team and we're not even close to playing our best basketball. K State is bad but a double digit Big 12 road win is a big improvement compared to the last two games. No reason to downplay it

Looked decent today. Still a bit disjointed...I wonder if what Prohm is installing offensively/defensively is taking more time than originally thought.

Perhaps in March we see a basketball team that can win a couple games in the tourney. Those pointing out the similarities to last year's team and saying it's fine also have short memories: the tendency to let things slip never went away.

Liked Ashton's minutes and I hope there's a way for him to get in some regular PT for the remainder of the year. Didn't informally see any reason not to today.

I think they have always been good, but not particularly lucky. Just seems like guys that can't make anything seem to make 3 pointers against ISU. Yes, defense plays a part, but guys that should never take a 3 pointer are making 2-3 against ISU. Surprised KSU didn't make 60% today, not because they are good shots, just because it seems to happen to ISU a lot.
