...smells like cows*** and wind. The former Texas Tech QB and now Louisville quarterback ( his 7th year btw) said those remarks to a reporter when asked what his thoughts were about his time in Lubbock. Yeesh.

I have some family that has a hunting lease in western Tx about an hour from Lubbock. Been to the city a couple of times. It’s clear they love their Red Raiders and it’s a passionate college town. But by god is that an ugly part of the country. It’s just brown grass and dirt.

I grew up in central Iowa (hog confinements) and earned MS from TTU. Lubbock is a great college town and doesn’t smell like anything. The wind is occasionally brutal and the town is not built to manage any amount of rainfall.

Go cyclones

Lubbock is not ugly. The area between Lubbock and Amarillo and Lubbock and midland is ugly.

@isufbcurt we have met.

Have you been to Lubbock besides for an Iowa state game; either as a fan or player?

If so I would be curious to where or what you did in Lubbock.

Lubbock isn’t Greely, CO and Greely is a **** hole.
