We need some people that aren’t dumb old ******* making decisions. The role of committees should solely be to put together the criteria, weighting and limits to conference rematches, locations etc. after that there is zero reason for committees to have a role other than to inject bias to change what their criteria spot out as results.

All of this could simply be programmed and generated. The role of the committee should be prior to the start of the season to determine criteria for next year.

In general the basketball committee has been more legit and transparant then the football playoff committee...but this movement this year that soundly beating #1 and #14 right before the NCAA is totally meaningless but games in November against 100-150 ranked teams are all important, that's some REALLY REALLY REALLY stupid garbage that needs to be called out and destroyed.

This is Pollards last year, maybe his replacement next year from the B12 will go to bat for us.

fwiw i don't believe pollard can be involved in the discussions about us when we are brought up.

Since there will be one more ap poll this season, as long as ISU is 12 or higher they'll jump up to 56 on the all-time poll

With the backcourt all coming back they're setup to make a run at jumping to the low 50s next season

I'd love a way to cap this at a certain # of years so you could statistically define the 8 true blue bloods. Even if it was 50 years I'm guessing top 6 the same but Uconn sneaks in and maybe MSU although Louisville might stay?

You can do that on cue? That would be some seriously problematic GI issues!

I think the committee wants UConn out before the final 4. Why else would you stack with 4 top ten teams? Even FAU or Northwestern in 2nd round is going to create some challenges.

I'm just wondering who the one guy is that voted Houston number 1 after watching them get vaporized on Saturday.

You also have to consider they blew the doors off tcu and tech. AP poll votes generally factor in all games of the past week

I think this is the final AP poll. Coaches do one more after the tournament

I still want to know the story of how FAU brought back their whole team in the NIL era.

People just blindly saying "the state of Florida has a lot of money" doesn't totally add up. They must have at least 10-20 D1 basketball programs in the state, people are suggesting every one of them has unlimited millions to throw at college basketball teams that previously had no fan base?

I'm not accusing them of cheating or anything bad, I just think it's fascinating.

California has even more money and unlike FAU a school like Pepperdine is almost 100% extreme wealthy sitting on a perch in Malibu...if they held a final four team together in NIL era I'd be equally shocked and interested that anybody cared enough to spend that $.
