AP All-American List Released

Morris should be on it. Does this impact hanging up his number in the rafters? I thought the rule (unofficial?) was to be on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd All-American team and 4 year starter.

With as many rules that have been mentioned on CF we may never hang another jersey.

There are players from Purdue, Washington, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, and Baylor. All-America teams have nothing to do with being a "blue blood".

All those teams are more prominent to the national eye than ISU whether we like it or not. You could argue Baylor, but the fact that they started out undefeated and became #1 made them more prominent this year.

Sadly, going 1-7 on 3Ps in our loss to Purdue gave him no chance. He was going to need to lead us past the 2nd round to surpass the bluebloods and over hyped freshmen

THATs ********.

If it does, that's a travesty.

What sucks is that some one-and-doners are there, and a guy like MM who put in 4 top shelf seasons doesn't even get a sniff. Kind of speaks to the 10 minute culture we have anymore.

I read somewhere that the voting for the All American teams was completed immediately following the conference tournaments - prior to the NCAA tourney.

Correct - due selection Sunday.
