The ESPN app is horrible. Why can't it ever remember my login? Every time I try to watch something on it I have to login again. And today I was hoping to watch the NFL game (it's still the Jags and Broncos so I didn't want to that much) and I can log in on my phone fine, but it doesn't recognize that exact same account on my TV.

I wish the Big12 would just drop ESPN and get rid of this garbage product.

It is complete garbage. I noticed that too, I have to keep logging back in every few days and "activate" my account on their website. It freezes up alot more than Fox's app also when I'm trying to watch games.

I've grown to like ESPN plus. It's better than Cyclones.TV and it has some other content now that used to be on other platforms. Everything in one spot makes it easy plus the integration of all ESPN plus content into the Hulu app is great!

Ah. I forgot about the Hulu app. I can watch the game on that at least. It recognizes my ESPN+ subscription even if the ESPN app does not.

I'm a heavy ESPN+ user through the app and I never have any issues. Works as well as every other app that I use. It's great and the access to unlimited college basketball and football is amazing.

Zero issues with streaming the game this morning.

Maybe the issue is that I don't use it enough? I might watch something on it once a month or so. And every time, I have to log into my account. But with Hulu integration, then maybe I won't have to use the ESPN app at all. And I'm fine with that.

What streaming device do you use?

Firestick 4K currently but haven't had an issue through all the Amazon hardware I've ever used.

You might be on to something with the periodic use. I am probably in there 4 days a week and more during college basketball.

Same here. Used it heavily since it started and never a problem on any of our Apple TV, iPad, or Roku devices.

I found that using a Fire stick, the freezing up cleared up.

Never had an issue, except the UNI game last year when there were some technical difficulties at the very end of the game. Drove home from Moline this morning, enjoyed being able to watch the Jags vs Broncos.

And those technical difficulties were on site and had nothing to do with ESPN's steam. It's a great service, people just need something to complain about.

ESPN+ being on Hulu is a huge deal for me as we have the Disney+/Hulu+/ESPN+ bundle. Just search for the ESPN+ game you want on Hulu and then bounce around between broadcast games like I always do

I love it. Not too many years ago there used to be some games (especially basketball) available only on local Mediacom cable or something. Regular logins don't bother me.

This is how I use it most of the time, it is so much easier. Watching through espn+ is tedious IMO, especially after having access through Hulu.

The ESPN+ app is much less user friendly than Hulu on top of it
