Nah Rodman went the strip club by himself.
She's a WNBA player so she should be concerned about her social media presence and endorsements because that is where she is making her $$$. No matter how good she makes herself on the court the off the court stuff is still going to make her more money than a WNBA salary.
Marina Mabrey may actually be the better Clark villain, definitely more actually playing her one on one.

Sheldon raked CC's eyes. CC barked at her. Mabrey came in and blindsided CC knocking her down. Flagrant 1 on Sheldon. Technical on CC and Mabrey. Ridiculous. Refs were awful. Later in game CC nailed a 3 in Sheldon's face and let her and the Sun bench know it. Sheldon was on a breakaway for a layup and Sophie Cunningham took her out and then nearly headlocked her when Jacy got up and came at her. It was all pretty funny. Meanwhile the Fever got the W, CC scored 20, Sheldon and Mabrey had I think 6 points between the two of them, and Sheldon is now 0-12 vs. CC in college and the pros. Lol.
LOL blindsided. CC shoves Sheldon after the foul and was barely touched by Mabrey.
Coach had to tell CC to sit her ass down.

I’m ISU til wheels fall off but this was ridiculous. Woodbury and Connor level of nastiness and CC gets a tech out of it is pretty comical.
I’m not saying they need to protect her but she is driving the bus for a 20 year old league that’s never been solvent.

Yeah, i just heard audio and then watched it all later. When I heard eye poke I assumed Maybrey because I remember her playing dirty against her last year.
It is insaaaaaaaaaane that they called CC for a technical in that exchange. What is she supposed to do? She was getting knocked around like like a pinball!
Part of me is glad the officials don't worship Clark on stuff like this, but it's obvious the entire Connecticut team was just out to rough her up all game. Gross stuff from them and I'm glad Cunningham decked one of their cheapest players. Any impartial viewer would come away from this game a Fever fan and not liking Sun.
Agree with your first couple sentences. In the attached clip I thought it appeared that Mabrey barely touched CC. I’m sure it was reviewed and if I am incorrect Mabrey was ejected.
This is a terrrrible take.
- Sheldon pokes her in the eye.
- Sheldon then goes up to her and bumps her rather than letting CC get her bearings.
- I'm not sure you can even say CC bumps her back, a little reaction is unavoidable instinct but she did virtually nothing.
- Mabrey (who wasn't involved in the play) then blindsides Clark from the direction she's not even looking.
Clark is a pinball in that exchange and any human would be upset, one of the worst technical fouls I've ever seen and the refs were too afraid to call the correct call which was a flagrant and two additional techs all on one team. It sounds lopsided because the behavior was lopsided.
They look embarrassing like they all can't wait to take a shot at the star, it's really really sad. Playing basketball seems like an afterthought and getting a shot on the golden girl seems like their life's goal. Compare it to last game where legit legend Stewart was talking trash and laughing with CC the way LeBron, Steph and Jokic do when they play.
To be fair, I saw that part of the game. Mrs. Velo was watching it and rewound it for me so I could see the whole thing. In one view it looked totally like a classic CC flop. But in another view it was pretty clear that the bigger player double hip checked her pretty hard and she legitimately went down.
I don't think it is at all crazy that Clark got a tech there. The foul had been called and it was likely going to be a flagrant. Retaliation is going to get you a tech. Also, as long as you are a hot head, people are going to provoke you trying to get the best player on the team ejected. Keep your cool if don't want it to continue. Just like if a football team knows a RB is prone to fumbles he is going to have people trying to strip the ball on every carry until he gets it cleaned up. Or if you are a really bad FT shooter they are going to foul you and send you to the line turning it into virtual turnovers until you improve your game. Don't let your hot head be your weakness if you want it to stop.
I thought the tackle at the end was stupid. You are up by 17 with less than a minute left in the game. Just stupid to tackle a player in that situation. Either let her have the layup and you take the win or wrap her up and hold her up rather than throwing her to the ground. If she just wraps her up and maybe whispers that she is a dirty ***** in her ear it is a common foul and you can laugh all the way to the locker room after celebrating the win in front of your fans.
Most of all I am disappointed that there wasn't audio of that fracas. There was a more talking than punches thrown. It would be interesting to hear if anyone got creative in their smack during that.
