Android Phone Upgrades

This. I went from the S4 mini to the S6 (after it was years old) and finally the S10 just a couple months ago.
Same here. Went from a S6 Edge+ to a S10+, Ceramic back, 512 GB storage recently and I love it. Got it through Sprint and at a greatly reduced price that I doubt is available anymore. Then I turned around and got an identical one for the wife. I ignore all of the Samsung and Sprint junk that is put on it.

I have never used an Apple product that I liked. I just do not like them.....any of them.

My wife won't even allow me to consider an iPhone because I complain about hers so loudly when I try to use it

Thats why I call them Crapple, I will never have an Iphone.

I've had the S20FE for a couple of months and am pretty happy with it. I was coming from the OnePlus 6T, which was also pretty good.

The screen is better (120hz), the facial and fingerprint recognition is better, and the camera is better. It also has wireless charging, which is a plus in my book. The OP charged faster but I don't care since I only charge it overnight.

The battery is a little worse when running it in 120hz but I've never been under 40% at the end of the day.

Samsung OS is fine. I had 3 Google phones in a row because I wanted raw android but both OnePlus and Samsung are fine.

5G means nothing to me.

The "a" version Pixels are excellent for the price. I have the 3a currently - still works great.

Got me looking now. Anyone ever order directly off the Samsung website. Seems like they have a really good deal on the S20 FE at the moment if you trade in your current phone. Dont know if there is a catch to it but has me considering if it's time to upgrade our S8 phones if that price is accurate

Wife and I are upgrading to the Pixel 5 from the Pixel 2. Don't have them in hand yet but should be here Tuesday. As others have said we love the clean android experience.

If you're with Verizon, they're running awesome trade in deals right now. We're getting $350 for our Pixel 2's which makes the Pixel 5 the same price as the 4a.

Is the interface the same? I am a creature of habit. I also don't care or want to have my stuff stored on a cloud or whatever as sometimes I have sensitive work info I download.
Yeah, it's the standard android interface

How long has Google been supporting their phones like the pixel? My main problem with android phones is either relying on carriers to get updates through or I thought google was only supporting for 2 years.

You can also download a custom launcher app on any android to tweak things to how you like them. I use Nova on my S8 to put the back button on the right hand side, change the app tray, icons, and other things I probably don't remember.

I got the A51 because it did what I needed and was priced right. I had the S7.
