Ames Lager/Omaha Feedback

Here is some quick math:

Wed. 900 (300 people each drinking 3 during CF/WW event).
Thurs. 3600 (600 before each drinking 3 and 600 after the game each drinking 3).
Fri. 3600 (600 throughout the day each drinking 3, 600 during WBB game each drinking 3).
Sat. 3600 (600 before each drinking 3 and 600 after the game each drinking 3).

This would be 11,700 cans.

Doesn't count retail sales.
I think this is pretty good except maybe double it for Thursday and Saturday?

Can't you just make overnight orders based on evidence from the previous day(s)?

Weather is going to be crappy, cold with chance of rain/snow showers so that might make a difference.

From a business perspective, 20,000 is too steep if you’re just counting those 3 bars’ sales. I don’t want the Collective and West O pissing off their distributor.

Speaking exclusively as a businessman here (not as a fan so don’t kill me), there’s also risk we lose on Thursday, which kills demand on Friday and Saturday. Being more conservative mitigates that. Better to have too little product as opposed to too much.

Sports Page in Ankeny now has them available and it is $3 a can.

I think price point is key. If they have Ames Lager as the special at say 4 or 5 bucks a can, we can sell that. However if they price it higher and have say busch light or something on special it will be a harder challenge.

Will the Ames Lager be the special.

Yeah I ran some stuff in Excel and I know it's conservative but I'm under 10k. I think if we lose (no!) that's a big kill to Saturday. Price is the factor I don't have. If it's specially priced, I'd up the number of non-ISU fans consuming. Btw, learned that South Dakota is one of the heaviest beer drinking states in the country.

Won't every drinker to drink AL. If you can get half of that I think you'll be doing great.
