All-Time Favorite TV Series?

The best one that I think of is The wonder Years. That show always takes me back to my childhood.

As a kid, definitely Emergency

I dont think there was a better show than MASH

Cheers took over after that.

Lately its been
24
The original UK version of The Office.
The US version is good, but the UK one is much better

I say that but as stated before, shows mostly on in my house are
Dora
Diego
Lazytown
Jacks Big Music Show

My Top 10, more or less in order...

Star Trek: The Next Generation
24
Curb Your Enthusiasm
South Park
Doctor Who (the new one)
Red Dwarf
Titus
Lost
Seinfeld
Big Brother (Yeah that's right, I said it. What's it to you?)

Too lazy to make a top 10, but here goes:

South Park - It's amazing it's lasted so long, but they just keep thinking of new ways to keep the show fresh. Used to think it was what the "punk" crowd was into when it first came out, but it's really anything but.

Lost - Now that it has a definite "end" date, this could be one of the best TV series of all time. Those who complain that it never answers anything hasn't watched the show since the first season. It's true, it often answers questions and presents new ones in the same plot point, but it's very clear that the mysteries are starting to converge. It's a giant jigsaw puzzle, and only 2/3 of it is finished.

Friends - Starts to become hit and miss in the later seasons, but it still supports itself with its excellent characters and writing. I didn't care much for it until my girlfriend got me to watch some of the DVDs, and I've since changed my mind.

Arrested Development - They need to bring this show back. Seriously.

The Office - I like the British version, but the American version has the character depth that the British version doesn't. When it's finished running its course, this will be among the best TV series as well.

I'm an old timer as my picks will show-1- Gunsmoke (with Festus) 2-Hogan's Heroes 3- Andy Griffith (with Barney) 4-All In The Family 5- The Fugitive (with David Jansen).

Here's a video that combines two of my favorite shows. You probably have to be familiar with both to get it. You also have to have a healthy sense of humor--if you're easily offended by jokes about nuclear bombs, don't watch.

At least one person listed The Rockford Files, which is my all time favorite tv show (yes it dates me) and I have the first two seasons on DVD. My second favorite show is The White Shadow, and I find few people even my age that remember that show. And I do have season one on DVD.

Outside of those two, it would have to be Cheers, Soap (another one few remember), Seinfeld, Friends (in the early years), Emergency, X-Files, Hogan's Heroes and Married with Children. You could also throw in Rat Patrol and Combat from when I was a young kid as well as the Goodies on PBS from the late 70's.

The White Shadow was a great show. I'm in my 20's, so you aren't dating yourself that much.
