9-1, I’ll take itPredictions:
149- Swiderski over McNeil
174- Ruiz over Pinto
197- Little over Novak
125- Seymour over Ventresca
157- Watters over Cardenas
165- Garvin over Bignola
184- Ryder over Smith
Hwt- Yonger over Ghadiali
133- Byrd over Shawver
141- Mendez over Ech
Why though? And I was disappointed how many times it appeared that Burroughs ran down Iowa State program. Seems like he was throwing jabs at it multiple times
Agreed. Yonger is really really comfortable there.I thought Casey looked good.
Ryder looked really good.
Yonger was dominant and I expected that. I don't think Ghadiali was going to get that takedown. Yonger has been in that position many times. Ghadiali didn't do anything that whole match, except the 1 takedown attempt.
Byrd looked good.
Ech had the toughest opponent other than Yonger, just never got his offense going. Mendez is going to be tough to beat.
Not sure, especially when David Carr seemed to work with him a lot. Probably unintentionalWhy though?
It was teetering on going out of his way to trash us.Not sure, especially when David Carr seemed to work with him a lot. Probably unintentional
I agree completely… I like JB but **** if that’s how he feels about us sorry I’m loyal to iowa state over him.And I was disappointed how many times it appeared that Burroughs ran down Iowa State program. Seems like he was throwing jabs at it multiple times
I didn’t think so at all. You really had to be reading into it to thinking he was implying anything negative about ISU.It was teetering on going out of his way to trash us.
Agree to disagree.I didn’t think so at all. You really had to be reading into it to thinking he was implying anything negative about ISU.
What did he say? I watched it and didn’t pick up on anything like that.I agree completely… I like JB but **** if that’s how he feels about us sorry I’m loyal to iowa state over him.
I think it was mainly in Swiderski match. That Casey looked improved & better place now. Something along that linesWhat did he say? I watched it and didn’t pick up on anything like that.
I think that he did look improved. I can also objectively see where a fresh start could re-ignight his fire. At the same time I don’t take this as a slight against ISU. He wasn't wrestling PJ or JFrost. I'll keep our guys and let's see how things play out this year. I still don't think he wanted to take the risk of being a backup. Plus he got a bag.... good for him. I'm still a Swid fan. Fun to watch and very offensive. Always has been.I think it was mainly in Swiderski match. That Casey looked improved & better place now. Something along that lines
Ty looked really good imo. He looked strong and still had a leverage advantage. He's a legit contender at the weight if he stays healthy. How did Ty Watters look at his new weight class after missing last year due to injury? I didnt get to see the match.
Is the Big 12 glad that Watters is not back at 149?

I definitely did not take this as a slight to ISU. The "better place" phrasing is generally not referring to a physical place.I think it was mainly in Swiderski match. That Casey looked improved & better place now. Something along that lines
I personally think he’s going to be better at 157.How did Ty Watters look at his new weight class after missing last year due to injury? I didnt get to see the match.
