Porter not on there is an all-time snub. Holy **** man.
Several players on defense. Verdon. Fryler. Orange.
Darien Porter not being 2nd team, let alone 1st team, is the ultimate snub.

Nope, don't have enough knowledge on FBs in the league. Plus, Klotz missed games so wouldn't be him anyway.
Sorry, but I just did not see any of our defensive players and think Total STUD, there was no McDonald, or Kline out there, none of our DB's were lock down corners, and a player like Fryler is hurt because he is a hybrid player, really not a LB or a DB.
Now should a team playing in the conference championship game get a pick or two? They should, but if you line up the players we have outside of Noel and Higgins, not sure you could make the case our players are better than those that were chosen.
Looking at 1st and 2nd teams, you'd think Kansas & Kansas St were playing this weekend. We should've had more 2nd teamers given our record but nope, half our team is honorable mention.
Orange should have been 2nd team same with Porter. We have one the top passing defenses in the country so probably deserved more recognition there. Happy to see Jaylin on there for special teams.

How the hell are there 4 tight ends on the second team and only 3 wide receivers? Noel not being 2nd team WR is absurd.
This is just plain wrong. Darrien Porter is most definitely a lock down corner.
There's obviously a correlation, but it's also possible to be a really good college player that doesn't project to be a high NFL draft pick. Or, because a guy like Jontez is not draft eligible.
Makes total sense for the #1 pass defense in the league to have nobody on the 1st team while KU's #13 pass defense had two DBs on the first team.
But it's true that ISU doesn't really have too many guys that are carrying the team, particularly on defense. There have been a lot of guys that have been great like Orange and Verdon, but they've also missed time or been less than 100% a lot.
Counter to that is who had Noel next to them stealing numbers. A lot of 1 show ponies vs having a dog on your side who earned stealing stats.
Not gonna lie, I've been a big fan of retired Randy. Working Randy was much less fun.
Not that upset about any of these except for Darien Porter, who 100% should have been on the first-team. Being an honorable mention is an absolute joke. I think expecting any of our other guys to get on first team is a bit homery. This truly has been a team effort this year.

There's usually only 1, maybe 2, fullbacks drafted every year. I don't think Stevo will get drafted, but he will sign somewhere and will have a good shot to make a final roster, depending on where he signs.
You are looking at team stats, while something like this is chosen by people looking at the individual player, not the team as a whole. Can you sit there and say "Orange was one of the best dlineman in the conference or Verdon one of the 4 best DB's in the league?" Both are fine players, but this season neither was the best of the best at their position in the league, and that is what they are looking for.
Being draft eligible would have little to do with this, if the guy can play, that should be evident on the field by his play, his draft eligibility would not matter.
