I think we all know the horse it rode on.....remember December 31st, 2019? I do believe ISU lost to a certain Florida A&M team.
I remember saying to myself that night "well at least tomorrow is a new year".....
Anyone remember this? Trebek really knew how to not take himself too seriously and to ease tensions.
Yeah, the story is that the 3 champions were extremely nervous that day and Alex wanted the show to live up to the hype of their very first tournament of champions so he did this on his own to relieve some of the tension. It worked as they performed great after getting this laugh.
Im fine with this. Lavar Burton would be great as well.
