I am of a vintage when you were not only excited for your favorite bands latest album to be released but also for the accompanying artwork. It was quite a big deal back in the day.

What are some of your favorites? Here is one of mine that has left a lasting impression on me. It was part of my mothers collection from back in the early 70's. Still have the album today. Freaked me out as a kid.

One of my favorite albums. The psychedelic cover fits the era of its release perfectly.

The group had their friend design it. The misspelling was not intentional but they didn't have the time to redo it, so they just agreed to say it was.

To answer the original post; almost any Scorpions album, a certain Cars releases (can’t think of album title) and the original (unreleased?) Hendrix Electric Ladyland.

I initially thought of Houses of the Holy and then thought better due to my recollection/realization of the potential ages of the people on the cover last time I saw that. First time I saw that album I didn’t realize the potential age.
