So…where is everyone staying? We are at a TownPlace Suites. We’re ~8 miles North of the stadium, not ideal but for $49/night you can’t complain. (Friends and family discount. ;))

El Tropicano, 15 minute walk, got a rate on agoda.com that came out to $700 total over five nights.

I continue to look out there to see if there are any late deals to pop up. Right now were at a Marriott property near riverwalk.

Red Roof Inn PLUS "riverwalk". Looks like it's on the wrong side of the interstate, but still within ~ a mile of Alamodome. And cheap, very cheap.

We have one room at Marriott Riverwalk. Went to add another room the other day, but sold out, so second room at Westin Riverwalk.

Most of the hotels were almost booked up Sunday night. It was crazy trying to find one.. for a decent price that is.

Suprisingly, I was able to get a room at the Menger Hotel yesterday morning. Paid a little more then I wanted to but we are right by the riverwalk and a 15 minute walk to the stadium. I'll gladly pay more for convenience and be in the middle of party versus driving everywhere.

I went Priceline just now for Riverwalk area 3.5 star for $145/ night. Oh... Don't forget the $120 in fees. So for the three nights $578.

Sheraton Gunter. We're West of where I was hoping but all in all I'm ok with it. Just wish the fees were advertised beforehand instead of even you get to the checkout!
Anyone else there?

Marriott Plaza. Looked pretty nice, and super close, and not bad at $250 a night for 4-5 people.
