Aer Lingus Classic items. Tickets, planning, etc.

Im local, dublin born an raised just love college ball
That's great. You should see a great game. The KSU ISU rivalry goes back over 100 years.
We would love to join you for a beer, but a) we're not beer drinkers and b) we're probably not your preferred demographic. We're old farts.

Far less purple people out today. They definitely dont drink like Iowa Staters.
We did see a group with KU shirts. Odd bunch.
We toured Trinity College today. Beautiful place if you like old architecture.

I've gotten reports back from some friends that there is an obvious disparity in the amount of KSU fans vs ISU fans. Some are taking in the sights prior to the game and some are differing till after. My only conclusion is that more KSU fans are waiting to tour the Cliffs of Moher till after the game so they have a place to jump from after their loss.

After three days of walking around downtown, my impression is that there are probably more KSU people here, but not by a lot. Maybe 55-45 or possibly 60-40 at the most.

Easiest one is this one on youtube

Here's the other inside the pub

I haven't found any others that are like close enough to the ground to notice the people. Many cams of their docks.

These are neat. Was just watching the Dublin pub game. They have a band and were playing the Cranberries, Zombie. Much of the people were joining in. Didn't see any ISU or KSU.

I am guessing KSU has slightly more fans, but on the other hand, hard to tell. KSU fans are pretty committed to wearing the purple while ISU fans are in red, yellow, black and white.

Both schools should be proud of their representation here. I don’t care if KSU outnumbers us as long as we win!

I will say that I was impressed a KSU pep/drum group had the whole upper deck of an open two decker bus and was cruising around the streets in the bar area and stopping occasionally to fire up their fans. Kudos to them for that move.

I’ll be at home with my Aer Lingus planted on the couch. Respect for those that took this trip on. Ireland/Great Britain in general is an “organized clusterfuck” that takes a lot more than a few days to adapt to.

We have been watching for the inevitable Hawkeye fans over here...
Didn’t see a single Hawk fan when we were in Hawaii…which was nice.

Did unfortunately have a couple teachers owning that loyalty at the meet the teachers deal the other night for the new school year. One in particular had likes being “Iowa Hawkeyes, Watching Iowa beat Iowa State”, and then other things I can’t remember. They’re so weird…

Walked by the KSU rally and Was nervous they outnumbered us, until I got to ours. Hard to tell but I was guess 55/45 us.
