Advise Needed - Vehicles for Three Kids

Also have an 18 Accord with 3, although ours are a bit older. I very rarely have all 3 in my car, so worst case the 8 year old sits in the middle seat for the mile drive from school.

Have heard/read good things about these:

I opened this thread thinking you had three teenagers and you needed advice on buying three vehicles for them. I guess those issues will come later.
Same reason I came by. Did the three under five thing, now approaching the first one turning 15 soon.

We have that, rear facing it’s a bit tall so take that into account.

1990s jeep cherokee xj. safe, last forever, parts are cheap.
Where can I find one? I’ve tried to find these for years. Not cheap at all unless they have 200k miles, rusted out pieces of **** or both.

This might be my leading candidate for most misleading, get-your-hopes-up-for-no-reason, post of the year.

MY experience is that once the kids are five years old, no one is going to hassle you about car seats for them. This would be against the letter of the law in Iowa (which says all kids under 6-11 require a booster seat) , but it is not enforced.

Three car seats across two vehicles is a lot to expect of families who are already stressed by daily living!
