Yeah, malware is bad, but also why would anyone running a website want to make it so hard just to view the effing thing???

Because on an ad supported site, you are the product.

I'm not going to crap on the owners of the site, they can manage it the way the way they want. I was a paying subscriber to CF for quite a while as well. There's mouths to feed and revenue is always going to be the issue. But the fan forums are what drive traffic here and you must block the ads to use them, which defeats the purpose.

I keep getting those stupid virus alert redirects on mobile site to where all I can do is close out the entire site and start over! Getting old AF. Staff trying to drive this site into the abyss or what?

You're both missing the point - if traffic slows (or worse) b/c nobody can read your ******* website, then your revenue is going to decrease anyway

The Severance ad just takes over the whole page/screen and have to refresh and hope it doesn't pop up again while you are reading or typing.
