I get you need to make money, but it's overwhelming on a mobile device, I will quit coming to this site I've known and loved for a long time

Ads suck on every site mobile, as far as I have seen.
I have yet to find a decent ad blocker that works ok, and come close to working as well as they do on computer.
That being said I rarely come to this site on mobile because of the adds, and I never see a single ad on it on computer, thanks to ad blockers.
I hate all the sites that fill the screen with so many ads you can barely read/use the site. A lot of sites seem to have this issue, especially sports/news type sites.

To me it’s turned CF into a game. Basically it’s now a challenge to see how fast I can click on the thread I want before whole page shifts, goes full screen ad, or refreshes. Or can I type a reply before the page refreshes (this one did it once).
I’ve read lots of things I wasn’t intending due to the last second page shift and clicking on wrong thing. So that’s expanded my horizons some!!

They could also figure out what’s up with the website since most other websites aren’t having this issue
The Mayo Clinic ad that takes up the whole screen when I try to write a post and won’t close when you try to click on the X in the corner must be designed to create mental health patients.
It's the deceptive ads with multiple X's to close the window. Or an X so small I need my child's finger to press it.
I am getting a Mayo Clinic ad that is taking up my entire screen every time I open a new page. Please help.

I know they have to make a buck, but if the whole point of your website is READING, da **** do all these websites make it so hard?!
Using the mobile forums on my phone the last couple months, I keep getting college football videos that block my navigation up top when wanting to navigate via the forum links.
This is the first time I have ever had issues with ads on this site, and I've been here since it launched in 2006.
