Biting the bullet tomorrow.... Paying for the big surgery. I have called a lot of vets across the Midwest...seriously... Anyway, they all had the same advice, with the weight of our dog, the best surgery would be the $3000 surgery. She is only five so I am counting on her living another 10 years (fingers crossed). If I went the cheaper route, I will have a potential knee replacement when the cheaper one snaps or the other knee blows out.
Thanks for all of the advice on here. I appreciate it. I see both sides but plan on the dog being with our family for a long time.
