I was in San Antonio on Sunday and they were scalping tickets.....I saw them sell balcony seats to fellow isu fans for over $200 a ticket......i paid $150 for my lowers....not cool to gouge fellow clones
My guess is that they bought good balcony seats to make sure they got into the game. Then, they paid through the nose to get seats right behind the bench, so they were hoping to make back some money on their balcony seats. Actually, $200 per strip would probably be under face value. $200 for one session may be more than you paid, but might have been worth it based on seat selection. It wasn't exactly a seller's market in San Antonio unless you wanted a particular seat. If someone wanted a cheaper ticket, they were probably available, but for a lesser seat location. Being in the lower section isn't necessarily better if lower means behind the basket and they want to prefer to half court even in the balcony.
Not sure why I'm defending them so much. All I know about them is what I read here, but I really like guys who put the cardinal and gold right behind the bench . . . and probably paid a premium price to do so.
