One of the worst calls I have ever seen. I thought it meant atleast 4 down territory if you do that but nope.
Going for it on 4th at the 20... with the play that was called, and then punting from mid field on 4th, has to rank at or near the top of WTF ISU COACHES.

Mouser and Heacock did not call a good game.
Rocco checked something at the line on that play, into something, out of something, or maybe bluffing I don't know, but he did something.

Rocco is off. Way off. Did he take a hit to the head at the Arizona game? Followed by the shot against Cincinnati. But he NEVER has bad back to back games. I've suddenly lost that feeling that he can bring us back from any deficit.
Just analyzing Campbell over the years I’ve come to the conclusion that he thinks he’s bigger than the game. This lose is 100% on his ass.. Worst Iowa state decisions I’ve seen since the 80s
It’s at least the third time they have run that play in a third and long this season. I think the hope is that they lock up half or more of the yardage and go for it on 4th. But it looks really dumb when it works like this.

The entire coaching staff let this team down today. Complete and utter idiocy from the opening kick.
Shotgun, handing it off to Abu freaking Sama on 3rd and 1 on your own 20 yard line. Then a QB draw on 3rd and 12. Not to mention, using the 12 personnel formation with a single WR split out that screams to everyone, “we are running the ball” which hasn’t worked in 2 years
How I could sit in the 200 levels of Folsom Field and know CU was going to throw it on 3rd and 20 to end the game, but our own idiot coaches didn’t I’ll never know

That call to go for it on 4th and 1.5 from inside our own 20, and then to call that idiotic play, was just as bad or worse IMO. And the worst part was that it all came about because CMC hadn't been able to control his emotions by that point from the non PI call that he was ticked off and said.. "F it... we're going".
